she can’t tell what she likes more; the feeling of stale air in her lungs and not letting anything fresh in or nothing in her lungs at all, since caring always ruined her.

Single Consistency
your words preach everything will be okay, but my lyrics sing the opposite. I’m young to know relations don’t end in sunsets that thrown dishes like Regretful phrases are common. She says i’m too young to be so cynical, a little neurotic and in the way that gets you drugged and dead, call me your Amy Winehouse, I’m your Amy Winehouse I’m born and bred to self destruct, hard wired for it when mom said for the first time “no meds,” mirror on the wall turned to a pill, told me he was gonna kill me one day, so I’m so destined for tragedy I’m sure that God made me in the form of a Shakespeare character rather than he; There is nothing holy about me, I am sick sick sick, just wishing I was an angel but i swear i have never performed a thing i’ve planned, just have notebooks of deadly demises for me and my friends, but i know how it ends. single consistency; a final bit of self destruction, our hands, torn off at the wrists,

bless you
awwwww! Also, submission is kinda weird on tumblr, I’m not exactly sure how it works so if you submit off anon and want me to make the poem anonymous please let me know. Otherwise, I’ll tag your blog for credit. You can also just use a pen name and I’ll just use that for credit without tagging your blog :)
it’s not love, just a little infatuation, you said; Congratulations! you’ve faked yourself you fucked yourself over one more time, now you’re on the line. it’s daring you to hit it. red. daring you to step over, but you were never brave enough to cross it presented by, and by, and by: the crossroads of a mind, but you were never brave enough to cross it. you fell in love before i left and cursed the inconvenience and i cursed the inconvenience (you were the inconvenience) and memories were your plague and there was no doctor to remedy anymore and you said how could you do this to me. how could you leave me, i said it was just a little infatuation it’d be over in a second painless, quick and no harm done but you plague me. and the doctor is leaving, we both guess i’ll chop off fingers and toes and hope that it helps but i thought it was infatuation, i thought i’d never love. i wish i’d never loved cause caring always ruined me

since tylersoldtweets isnt really around anymore (i respect and understand it, truly), would you mind poetry submissions here? i like to keep personal things like that off my own blog and you somehow seemed to me like a sister blog to tylersoldtweets
I don’t mind it at all! If anyone wants to submit poetry, please do! I love to read it and I definitely miss some of the anons who used to submit stuff there. I’m honored that someone would even think of that :)
how to make magic
I wonder how Jack feels now
his Crown’s broke and about how no one will stop talking about it. I wonder if words become magic when said enough. I wonder about that very important date and if a rabbit’s legs could move fast enough to finally find a pot of gold and mary, contrary, if her bluebells are doing well and if a pocket full of posies is enough for a bouquet.
and we wonder if i hope all those daisies tell you i love you. Hey, I hope all those Daisies tell you I Love You.
on being young, care and influence
the first poem i ever wrote was about being young
not feeling young, but being young and
the wind
and im glad i got there since
every poem thus far consumed contained the words
“sad” and
“lonely”
between the lines
and had been stamped with a red “angsty,
fake deep,
to be skimmed.” by the rest
and evey song about the sex and love of
boys and girls no one cared for.
and getting fucked up for the sake of the act itself, fuck yourself, fuck what they think
and fuck the whole wide world but
how did i have care?
i think it’s because once
i ran down the hill in flip flops
and came home bleeding and as mom and dad fixed up my knees they said
“i don’t think we’ll ever be able to handle you.”
and then i made myself manageable, handleable
and i took care with me to a career where care didn’t matter,
no one cares if i care anymore so
the scars still on my knees are still there for spite, and i’ll keep piling them on because really
i could never care enough to handle my own self.
