HIGHWAY ANGELS

i have been driving longer that i have been living and the angels have resented me longer than i have driven. stop panicking they say, these roads are safe for the blessed, these roads are safe for gods but i know some angels of my own and i know they have not been lucky I LOVED THEM AND THEY ARE GONE keep your traveling companions they say, they will not leave they can keep you safe but i have not been lucky i will ruin it all for him i will abandon him without knowing and he will never make a friend again i will abuse her, i will turn her against herself i know i say things when im on higher doses they will leave and i have no more reason to drive anymore. swerve and feathers fly. he disappears and the carnage is a rusted halo and my smile.
