This has nothing to do with anything, just a weird thing while I'm bored at work -
When I first moved to WI, there were strange things I heard, like "bubbler" which is actually a drinking fountain. "Soda" which is pop.
The hardest one to understand was people asking for a "time machine." Naturally, I thought folks were really odd, then again it was college.
Turned out they were asking for "tyme machines" which stood for "take your money everywhere" and was known to the rest of the world as an ATM.
