There is actually nothing i enjoy more in life than alden fords unrestrained joy at playing literally any character thrown his way. How did he ever even do live improv. The man fights his way through every sentence and finishes them off with a giggle.

I started reading Fabulous Bodies tonight (hoping I can finish before the tour stop on Friday!) and the parallels between this book so far and episode 5 of the Young Old Derf Chronicles.

Get you some media that has a character coming back from the dead in the back of a refrigerated corpse truck and the driver is definitely going to sell the body for parts instead. And also get on Raya.

Here's the summary of Fabulous Bodies:

Fashion influencer by day and grave-robber by night, Poppy Stringer is on call when Eddie Michaels—a flamboyant, piano-slamming rockstar and queer icon—unexpectedly dies. All Poppy has to do is retrieve Eddie’s body from the medical examiner’s office, but what starts as a routine delivery quickly goes off course when Eddie wakes up. SHAE: What’s your home planet, L’Soon? L’SOON: Oh, me? Haha, I live on Raya. SHAE: And you could get all of us in? You’d vouch for all three of us? L’SOON: Yes, I can get you in. You need to know someone to get into Raya. SHAE: And of course, if you didn’t know the right people, you… L’SOON: Oh, then you just can’t get in. And then it’s very pathetic, and it’s very sad.
