I finished off the type a day project by adding the letters into an alphabet. They are already printed and produced into a set of cards but I wanted to display them properly in this format too.
When I look at the set of cards I always want to colour them in so this is good as a successful outcome would be that people upon receiving the cards and shuffling their creative imagination would want to do the same!
Myself and Lisa have been working on the final A3 boards - which will be handed in as a digital PDF. Just need to add in my extra project I did separately to the end then this PDF will be finished.
Some more images of the boxes finished and with the cards inside. As in the previous post, I’m still unhappy with the finish of the boxes due to the folded edges looking scuffed, but I’m please with how the overall concept has worked out.
The cards inside can be moved around, rearranged, shuffled etc. they are approx 5.5cm so are small enough to fit in your pocket too!

I’m disappointed with the way the box has been finished. As it is black print on white card, the edges that have been folded and were white have cracked and so it doesn’t look very neat which is a shame.
The scanned in versions of my typography for the type-a-day card set.
I chose elements from the type-a-day pieces I have created and selected letters that stood out to me. The concept of this is that people would receive a box (net shown above) which includes these cards. You can shuffle the cards, make words with them, colour them in etc. to give you some typography inspiration!
I will be printing a few nets to practice with first before the final one is folded and made up with the cards inside. I think this is a really nice idea and is also something which would be a nice finishing touch for a creative CV to send to potential employers/clients.
