Yay! This is my face reveal. I finished repairing and tweaking my fave ushanka in the morning, and the snow gave me a flashbang straight in my face. I showed what I did to my aunt, she liked it, but I have shitty timing because it's deer hunting season, she won't let me leave the house in it.
(I think I need a new phone or dig out my camera because taking photos is hell.)
(Yes, this is the https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-4231 reference, total greener death.)
Spoilers of SCP and Matilda (the book) under the cut
May I present the evidence, first from Matilda:
Matilda Wormwood is telekinetic due to all of her pent-up mental energy.
According to Study.com, Matilda is set in an English village
Since the book was published in 1988 and it mentions a small TV and TV dinners, it's probably also set in the '70s-'80s.

Now, the second part of my theory. These facts have been taken off the SCP Wiki, specifically from the article SCP-4231. (TW: SA, read at your own risk)
The GOC once launched a project named after a biblical character who is mentioned only twice. The project's aim was to liquidate every Type Green (reality bender) they found.
In the peak of this project (the 1980s), the GOC killed off ~75% of all Type Greens.
Usually, the average lifespan of a Type Green is 19 years old, because they usually just /gamemode creative at that age. During the project, however, the average age of a Type Green was 8, because that's when the GOC found them.
Also, this screenshot showing the distance from Cornwall to Buckinghamshire (it's about 4 hrs by car in the 2020's):
THEREFORE
Either Ms. Honey/Mrs. Phelps was part of the Serpent's Hand and took Matilda to the Wanderer's Library to keep her safe, or Matilda didn't end very happily.
Newbie: Wait, the geometric things are to absorb backlash? I didn't know that.
Labyrinth: How did you not know that?
Newbie: I don't know. I don't remember ever even getting backlash from spells.
Labyrinth: Are you sure you're a Type Blue?
Well! Lately I've been drawing refs for my OC. I haven't posted it, there are a lot of things you haven't seen, so I will slowly post them in series - When I finish things. Contrary to appearances, I am very active even when there are no new posts/reblogs.
My type green will be a field technician so he has his own gear - the helmet is a marvel of crackhead engineering, he has moves like lobotomy with antennas and bite of 87. The sounds of the Aztec death whistle. Linux installed. Oxygen snack + pervitin. And over it is a cloak made of gray suit material (camouflage). The rest of the armor is kinda shit, and only the head is protected by a fucking giant helmet. The helmet can display things on itself and it sees thanks to some cool sensors to better protect your head. Normally the helmet looks metallic. He also has an AK-47, the kind where you can oil it with shit and it will work.
I'm starting to make artwork in Paint, unironically. And I have a new artstyle where I do it so soullessly that it actually has soul. It looks so fucking stupid (I love it). It looks like one of those cheap animations on channels with AI-generated voices. I painted my character because I needed a design update (he got a patch). I tried to better capture the facial features in this style.
Windows has given up on me; it won't start, no matter if I wait an hour or two. It updates, freezes, and bluescreens. When I feel like I have too much free time and desire, I'll install Windows 7 on that separate drive; maybe then Studio Clip Paint + Wacom drivers will work properly, lol. For now, I'm drawing everything in Paint, I'm rawdogging with reality with it.
