I’ll never get over how utterly adorable it is how Marinette asks Luka if he meant what he said while he was akumatized.

Like--she’s Ladybug. This is a girl who’s not only been around every single akuma victim ever and knows that they never remember what they said/did while akumatized, but she also met with Luka right after he’d been deakumatized and saw that he was clearly dazed and didn’t know what had happened.

Yet she was so touched by his confession that she asked anyway, because she wanted so badly to confirm if he’d really meant it.

I will NEVER be over yasha, YASHA nyoordin, losing her wife, best friend, herself for a while and then finding happiness again. not forgetting and not letting go of her old family but letting joy and happiness and love enter her heart again. she wanted for so long for someone to hate her and hurt her and leave her but with unrelenting love the mighty nein wormed their way in and gave her the space to heal. and SHE DID, she fell in love with beau, she fell in love with the mighty nein, she fell in love with a new home, her kids, her dogs, her life! she got her mind back and her heart back and her body back there were certainly bumps in the road but she did it!!! my emotions are a WRECK due to one (1) sword lesbian.

Do you think if Marinette had met Luka before Adrien she would have fallen head over heels in love with him instead?

No. I think she’d still be in love with him, but I imagine that you’re implying that she’d be in love with him in the way she’s “””in love”““ with Adrien?

I just don’t see it. Luka seems to exude a certain energy that it calms Marinette when he’s focused on her. I just can’t see Marinette acting around Luka how she acts around Adrien outside of right at the beginning (and only very briefly at that, like in canon).

I also imagine that having fallen in love with Luka would act as a “block” of sorts so she wouldn’t fall for Adrien later, especially if she and Luka are already dating.

What was your first impression of Luka in his debut Captain Hardrock?

What moment or episode did you first start shipping Lukanette?

I was intrigued seeing him actually calm and meditating when Marinette first showed up, surprised when he actually had a teasing side of him, then 👀👀👀👀 when he apologized when he realized he’d hurt her feelings. I shipped it by the end of that scene (I’m a sucker for soft ships).

“Frozer” further sold me and “Silencer” made it my OTP.

All I'm hearing is Marinette asking Luka if he wants to be referred to as "they" and assuring him that she’d be totally okay with it.

Bonus for Luka catching Marinette doing research on nonbinary people and--oh, I guess she's busy being smooched now for being so sweet.

Research will have to wait.

although I'm 100% sure everyone has a crush on Mari with loose hair, I noticed that in the scene where her hair comes loose, she looks incredibly uncomfortable and anxious, as if at any moment someone is going to say something really bad about or something like this?

as the show is clearly never going to talk about it, i got interested in looking up theories about it and so far i haven't found any so maybe it's just in my head.

Yeah, maybe Marinette feels like she looks weird with her hair down. Even being complimented on it doesn’t seem to make her too happy. She comes off really awkward about it.

Could maybe be something involving Chloe’s bullying that made her self-conscious about it?

For the first question: Most of the time, I headcanon that the highlights are natural. Otherwise, I just imagine it's black.
