Happy Earth Day!

Yup! It's Earth Day! That's The Date That Is Today!

I'm really happy with this one. This thing was the reason I haven't posted any creatures in a long time - I needed an Earth Day creature, because that's what day today is! And I'm quite happy with it :D Happy Earth Day!

day 124 - 5/3/24 - telephant

it's a telephone elephant! its trunk is a phone, its tusks are the little prongs used to hang up the phone on the wall, its eye is a dial, its tail is the curly phone chord, and its ears are satellite dishes because like. communication. it's mildly thematically relevant and it looks cool. i can't just abandon an idea that looks cool for such trivial things as "thematic cohesion" or "accuracy". maybe it also functions as a cell phone you don't know

day 14 - 1/14/24 - oilphant

first prompt post! i've been looking forward to doing this prompt for a while, i love it :D

this poor greasebeast is running out of oil! reblog to kill it faster! but actually i really like this thing. :) imagine, if you will, a herd of these fellows napping in a meadow, or grazing on sticky black grass. i love them.

day 34 - 2/3/24 - juize dizpenzer

consumes highly toxic berries and processes them into a delicious and human-edible substance. it does this for free. the only condition is that you're not allowed to call it "juice" - it's "juize". it wants to make it very clear that there is a distinction between regular old "juice" and the stuff that it creates. this is its own thing unrelated to juice, no matter what similarities they may hold.

you can often find them at smoothie places. they are neutral towards capitalism as long as they get to share their juize

day 128 - 5/7/24 - printer kitty

keeps meowing at me to refill its magenta. kitty you still have a half full tank of magenta left!! maybe you'd have more ink if you stopped leaving printouts of mice at my door every day

school starts back up again tomorrow. let's see if my daily monster streak can withstand this new challenger! the real challenge begins now

i'd love to go into my process with this one but. as i said. school starts tomorrow! gotta sleep! basically, lots of pixel-perfect adjustments, and also the whole thing is symmetrical
