monster 151 - sleeper cell

it's a cell that looks like a pillow. not sure if that came across though... its cilium is shaped like a Z, and so are some of the squigglies inside it

now i have as many monsters as there are pokémon in the first generation!

monster 150 - twisty sam

they are really cool and would probBablg wear star-shaped sunglasses i think. i'm not surewhat their weapping thinv is made of. i feel like there's a substance in my head that's on the tip of my tongue but i haven't been able to come up with it since i drew them. it's like cinnamon bark or something?

monster 149 - skulldozer

this one is actually another thing i mis-saw in a pokémon video, funnily enough. i saw an alolan dugttio from behind in the distance and could not for the life of me figure out what it was.

anyways i don't imagine the hard parts to actually be made of bone. i imagine them like... hardened hair? keratin then, i guess. so like fingernails.

i wish the sludge was shinier, but i don't feel like going back and fixing it. i'm done with this one! and i'm quite proud of it :]

monster 148 - ballpoint princess

i think she's pretty self explanatory-!

originally, the idea was that the red part is her real eye, the pen-tip her real head. is that still the case? that's for you to decide!

monster 147 - crystal lump

i've never played pokémon legends: z-a, but i saw a clip of it in a video, and i glimpsed some kind of grey blob with pink crystals poking out of it on the roof of a building. and i mistook this for a pokémon. so since it wasn't i decided to draw what i thought it was!

monster 146 - jublubber

six-limbed primate with compound eyes, capable of ejecting its tendril-connected teeth to move around outside of the body. here's what it looks like when it's Not doing that:

day 26 - 1/26/24 - painter in the woods

sometimes, when wandering out in the woods, you will encounter a painter, working diligently on its next piece, and it will ask you what you think of its artwork. if you are honest, and offer constructive criticism, it will reward you with a generous bag of gold and thank you. however, if you are dishonest, and say that you like its painting in order to appease it, it will trap your soul inside of one of its paint buckets and force you to live as one of its tools until the bucket's contents run dry. that, or you will be the one supplying its red paint.
