Is farmboy!clark still save-everyone-no-matter-what superman? How does he react to slaughtering animals on the farm for food?

I think Farmboy!Clark can be a protector of life and still handle farming practices of slaughtering animals! He would be raised to take care of the livestock with care and love, making sure the cows and pigs and chickens were all happy, well fed, and healthy for the duration of their lives. Organic, free range, all that good stuff. When it came to slaughtering animals, Pa Kent definitely told him how to do so in the most humane, compassionate way. Quick methods so the animals wouldn’t be in pain. I imagine he was exposed to it young, and after Pa’s explanation that this was the natural way of life? Clark would understand, and do his best too. Even after moving to Metropolis, he does his best to support farms that treat their livestock well as the Kent farm does. Maybe Clark even tries to have vegetarian days, but he also understands that it’s better to support local farms. Hopefully this explains everything? I love how you guys come up with these deep questions, keep them coming!?

Sidenote: I grew up on my family farm during summers, so I have a bit of experience with this? But it’s not too accurate I think lol

Is farmboy clark still superman in your mind or is this a completely seperate au where he's just a farm man

Omg this is such a good question! I envision it he is still Superman, but he just grew up a bit more sheltered because of his powers so Clark’s a bit naive of normal human mating habits.

Ma and Pa did really well to treat him normally, but in my mind they shelter him just a bit more (maybe his powers came in faster and stronger) so he’s still sweet and kind just more… socially awkward.

I used to use this blog mainly for reposting my favorite fanfictions. I recently got the writing bug back after seven years, so now I also post blurbs of my current hyperfixations. There’s no rhyme or reason to my thoughts, other than the fact that they’re filthy and usually about my current hyperfixation.
