Hi Dahni! Just a small question because I was thinking about it, so in cases where Aspects share things with other Aspects and such, using Breath and Hope as an example, do you think that means there is also a connection between their opposites in Blood and Rage? Or do you think it's just a case by case basis not something directly connected like that since all Aspects are already connected through these types of chains anyway.
i do generally find that that seems to be the case in most things ive thought about
like for instance Light and Hopes overlap in “Truth” by Light dealing with clarity, data, information and Hope dealing with reality “YES” and authenticity has an opposite in Void and Rage’s “Falsehood” where Void’s unreality, illusions and undefined possibility instead of definite reality, matches with Rage’s deceit “NO” and fakeness attributes together combine to create the idea of “False”
and it makes sense as every Aspect operate along an axis of opposite concepts, what you find in Light, in Void you will find it’s opposite and etc
so it makes sense that what you find in two aspects, in both of their opposing aspects, there you will find it’s opposite as well, and every time I think of a new possibility of overlap, it does seem to be the case in every situation I apply it to, because it’s just the natural path of what the Aspects would do anyway
to use your example of Breath and Hope, id say one possible area of overlap between those two could be “Choice”, Breath brings to the table it’s ideas of freedom and individuality, and Hope shares once again it ideas of reality and positivity, so, together they are “the freedom of individuals to make their desires reality” aka the idea of Choice
for their opposites, Blood brings to the table it’s ideas of obligation and groups, and Rage shares it ideas of unreality/fakeness and negativity/rejection, so together they create the idea of “No Choice” or more specifically, “The obligations of groups make it so you cannot bring into reality what you desire”
as you can see, when you combine aspects, the ideas start to get more and more specific and less vague, to the point where you can probably get extremely specific situations from three or more aspects, hence why I won’t even bother trying to think about all of those combinations lol
chances are, fi your asking if such and such combination of aspects covers this part of reality, chances are if you can imagine it within the aspects bounds, you can probably use it like that
