Text and typography class with Jo Spencer-
Yesterday, we had a basic Text introduction class with Jo, and it was great to brush up on some of the stuff that we already knew and learn some new stuff.
We started out by identifying different fonts as serifs (slab serifs, hairline serifs, wedge serifs, bracketed serifs, un-bracketed serifs) and sans serifs and then we did some hand drawn examples of the above mentioned types.
We also brushed up on the very basic different parts of text, just to bring the entire class on a levelled platform and hand drew some other examples of different types.
