They sound like a nice family. I hope they’re doing well.
I googled Sabrina just to see, because I always wonder if the people behind these sites are well. I ONLY look at public information available because I don’t want to get into anyone’s private business.
But I will say this - she is an absolutely gorgeous woman (she looks younger than me despite being 10 years older and a grandma!), still seems like a very kind and loving soul, and Tyrell did indeed grow up to be a great man, from the looks of it anyway. Her daughter is a 2020 graduate (not sure if high school or college but either of those things is a great achievement to take pride in!). I hope Phuc (they’re still married, almost 20 years is incredible!) and their youngest son are also doing great!
I get that it’s kind of weird to want to check up on these people, but...I like the idea that these sites we created to connect ourselves to the world are still out there, telling people about us. It gives us all a chance to impact more people. Which in the end is all we were trying to do. And I get kind of attached to them after reading their stories from decades ago; it makes me happy to find out that these stories were just the beginning of great things for them. The good thing about web archeology is that sometimes we don’t have to speculate; we can know.
And again, I ONLY look at freely available public information. I don’t add them on social media, I don’t pay for background checks. I ONLY want to know what they’ve put freely into the world now, like they did in the Geocities era. And if somehow anyone featured in any of my posts sees themselves and wants it deleted, please get in touch with me and I’ll do so.
