Can I ask 32 for each of your heirs ily nova!
ohhh that’s an interesting one!
which one of the 7 deadly sins fit your oc more? do they see it as a flaw?
minnie - pride
she really didn’t have a personality since i was more focused on playing the challenge back then. but i think this fits since she was like, a cool scientist? and was chosen for alien abduction one time? idk man, it just works ig. i don’t think she’d see it as a flaw
dahlia - greed
this one just comes because she always wanted more and she was never satisfied. whether it was from different partners or her career - it was never enough. when she was younger she wouldn’t think anything of it, but as she grew she definitely saw it as a flaw
soli - pride
same as minnie, to a degree. they became a smuggler and i imagine were really good at their job. but more than that, they lowkey forced their heavy expectations on their children (irt getting stem jobs) because they thought it was the right thing to do, because why wouldn’t their kids want to be successful? like dahlia, soli didn’t see this as a flaw at first, but did later on
rainn - wrath
this one may come as a surprise maybe? because that does not sound like rainn, but hear me out. as a teen he was super spiteful towards soli because they wouldn’t support his dreams. so he ran away and didn’t talk to his family for years. when he was with summer they argued a lot about meaningless things too. i would also cite his relationship with jonas on here, but i think his anger there was justified. idk, i had a hard time pinning one down for rainn so. rainn would see this as a flaw for sure
tyrian - greed
need i say more? literally nothing tyrian did, even at the end of his life, was selfless. he left yusuke for no reason. he left his nursing job (and effectively wasted rainn & bonnie’s tuition money) in order to try being an actor (which, sure, worked out, but still). he was extremely absent in ember’s life because he wanted to be famous. he left ember for a time to live in dsv with antony (at that time she lived with yusuke full time). sure, he had a change of heart, but how? it was because all of a sudden people were saying things about him due to the love triangle stuff. but i think even at the end of his life he didn’t see this as a flaw
ember - sloth
i never really touched on it, but ember was actually pretty damn smart. she grew up around computers thanks to yusuke and was super good at programming (i think maybe yusuke thought that she would join him in his start-up, but he wouldn’t have pressured her ofc). but she never acted on it. she was of course a pretty good baker, but again, she never acted on it. it’s not that she didn’t care, i think it’s just that she was more like tyrian than she realized and just didn’t want to start one thing, only to be tied down to it. but more than that, she was afraid of failure, because her immediate family members were all fairly successful. she was just afraid to try, which she definitely hated about herself
valentine - envy
like ember, val was just afraid to try to do the things she wanted to do. but unlike ember, i think val knew from the beginning what she wanted, which was writing as we all know. but she felt like she had a responsibility to support the people she loved, which at the time was w*lliam. but i alluded to her being super jealous of him & their other roommates at the time because they were all doing things they wanted to do while she was stuck. when she eventually got out of that relationship we all know she just kinda went ham and did everything she wanted which was a direct result of a lifetime of wanting. i think she would have felt guilty that she was jealous of everyone, but i don’t think she necessarily see’s it as a flaw
cora - lust? wrath?
don’t wanna go deep into this now, but you’ll all see what i mean eventually ;-)
thank you for asking! it was a lot of fun!
