If Tyrian’s Route begins in the middle of Atlas’s...I’m not playing it. If his route even attempts to harm the puffball that is the pilot, no.
I'm here for the dramaaa
He was really trying to come with any reason he could think of to lessen her sentence, find ways to make sure she'll be okay, and look into the state of the colonies himself, just please don't go! And it's sweet but it's as she said that one person can't change the whole Union. Plus he's still pretty brainwashed with Union propaganda rn. She had to do this.
I really do love how they're one the same wavelength, they like the same things, the same jokes, have history, and work so well together. So it's so sad they're on opposite sides.
I really liked the childhood friend trope and yearning from this route.
MC & Tyrian first became friends by being NERDS.
Also, MC got her "Oh My Stars" catchphrase from Tyrian after he was surprised her plan worked with a game they were playing together, and she made a habit of saying it all the time. At first it was to remember him after he left to join the Union, but eventually it just became her thing to say.
FIREBUG
I love how MC designates threat level by what it looks like they eat for breakfast
I wonder if Tyrian S2 had a different writer from S1 because it doesn't seem consistent. Tyrian confesses his feelings for MC at the end of S1 because he didn't think he was going to see her again and couldn't let her go without telling her. But then in S2 when they're both safe, MC asks what are they because by this point they kissed, cuddled and shared a bed together, he says they're "friends." Um?
And when later MC says she doesn't want to be just friends, then he kisses her like "I've always liked you!" I know...you told her at the end of S1 already. Why are we confessing twice here???
Am I missing something? Did I misunderstand something???
And then there's other times where there's missing information but the story acts like we were supposed to know it. Like when Vyrnas sends them on a mission to get a precious metal he needs, he doesn't tell them what metal it is that he needs. But MC later asks Jaxon where to find "Odinite." Varnys never even told them the metal was called that yet. I feel like the writer forgot to have Varyns tell them what it is.
But then again, S1 was also weird with missing info, as Tyrian tells the Promise Crew that the guards on Olympus-7 said that Admiral Vyrnas was the guy who made the suit AI. But the guards didn't say that...they just said Vyrnas told them not to have the colonies become self reliant and to punish them if they start to do so. The guards said nothing about him being the one who made AI. I feel like there was a scene missing with the guards or something.
