Am I the only one getting kind of annoyed at the show for trying to portray Shae as this little angel while in the book she's betraying him the whole time? I always thought it was one of the best twists but in the show it's losing it's venom now she has a proper motive.
i’m sure you’re not the only one! although i haven’t read the books (though i’m planning on reading them this summer!), my friend who has told me about shae in the books… apparently she’s not sansa’s handmaiden and yes, she betrays tyrion in more ways than one. but i can’t be disappointed and i can’t sympathise with your disappointment because i simply don’t see her that way. to me she is what she’s depicted like in the series. i’m absolutely certain it will break my heart when i read the books, because shae will be just another deep scar to tyrion’s already scarred heart.
