when i look at tweets from 4-5 years ago i just sigh, no, you were never gonna have tyrelliot that's got to be next level delusion if you ever thought they were gonna be happy by the end of the show

they're also not a queerbait though, to the people arguing that. there's a difference between a ship designed to be entirely one sided, and sam esmail has said that tyrell loves elliot. queerbaiting always has the sexual/romantic tension without the showrunners backing it. tyrelliot has always been canon, just one sided. the same for tyrobot

not every romance has to end in happiness, or closure. that's not how these dynamics work in real life, so why do you expect that from a show?
