☁ = being caught in the middle a storm with them
WEATHER IN ALFHEIM was usually quite …. predictable, so it was easy to plan to do certain quests, or explore certain areas and whatnot. At least - it usually was there were times when things would not go the way they seemed for ways that - sometimes would be explained, and sometimes would not.
( This would be one of the times where the change couldn’t be explained. )
Well, the day had started out nice at least – the two of them had plans to do some exploring, nothing too extravagant but it was still something that the Undine had looked forward to. As there were still parts of ALFheim that even she had yet to see. And what better way to experience them than with Sumeragi ?
…At least, that was how her train of thought went. It was a beautiful day - and had started out with one of ALfheim’s finest weather settings. She never would have expected the day to go south. She was….. unlucky, for that reason. The initial drop of rain is felt causing blue hues to glance up at the sky, frown immediately coming across her features as she notices the sky turn grey.
“ It wasn’t supposed to rain today…. ”
Is muttered with bated breath, arms folding over one-another as a sigh is given. Rain now beginning to drop at a more rampant rate. It was…. an inconvenience, to say the least. A hefty sigh escapes the girls lips as she turns to face the other - she felt bad honestly she did.
“ I…. I’m sorry, I didn’t know it was going to to rain. ”
“ I think we passed a place were we can wait out the storm until it passes by, a cave - not so far back. ”
“ It’s not the most convenient, I know….. ”
Of course, there was magic to make the rain more bearable but even with that - she really had no desire to stand out in the rain - it wasn’t as fun. ( A cave wouldn’t be much better, but it would be dry. ) This is how they ended up in the predicament they were in, being stuck in a cave waiting for the rain to go away.
“ I’m sorry - again. I know this is… less than ideal. ”
“ —- Up until the rain though, I was really enjoying myself… spending time with you and all. ”
A hand moves to rub against her cheek as this is said, she could feel her cheeks heating up and for a few moments - she was glad that the cave was dimly lit. Because the last thing he wanted was him seeing her flustered face.
“ I hope that - at least up until now, you were able to enjoy yourself too. ”
Would then be said, in a much quieter tone this time. Another sigh, sliding along the back of one of the caves walls till she was sitting flat on the floor, knees are brought up against her chest. Really, she hoped that the weather would brighten up again soon.
