Go, my Ty-Structs headcanons
D-Structs is not only touchstarved, he's also emotionally constipated and emo.
Ty is very affectionate
When the others found out about the relationship, they were actually pretty upset, not because ty was gay, but because of all the trux in the crater, he fell for D-Structs
D-Structs thought that if he squashed his feelings down enough, they'd just go away. They didn't, of course
Ever notice how there was only one time D-Structs messed with the builds while Ty and his friends were gone? That's because honestly he was always just doing it for attention, and when he didn't know where Ty was or when (or even IF) he'd be back, he had no reason to mess with things. Eventually he realized that Ty would always find his way back to the crater, so he decided that he would make sure he'd get attention immediately by messing up the bridge.
^every time Ty was gone, D-Structs was worried sick. He couldn't sleep, he ate less, he was 10x as irritable as usual, but he never told anyone why.
Ty has nightmares about what happened to his old home and about it happening again in the crater, and D-Structs also has nightmares about his own past, so they usually cuddle and comfort each other when they wake up in the middle of the night.
After he and ty get together, D-Structs stops trying to break all the shit and works on being a better person. Ty supports him.
Not really a Ty-Structs headcanon, but Skrap-Itt is definitely a Mechanisms fan and has a little shrine dedicated to them. D-Structs asked him about it once, and immediately regretted it, because Skrap-Itt turned into a 3 hour unskipable cutscene.
