I'm growing tired of seeing people accuse upcoming 3D animated movies and tv shows of being AI based on a very limited selection of advertising images.
I understand the dislike towards generative AI. I really do. I'm part of the crowd.
But pointing fingers when you have no genuine idea how these shows were actually made is detrimental to the real, breathing artists who worked on them.
"This looks like AI" have you considered it just looks like the classic 3D animation style that's been prevalent for the last couple decades? The one on which AI trained? Maybe it doesn't look like AI; maybe it's AI that looks like it.
The animation industry is already threatened by AI. Let's not diminish the work of real artists while we're at it.
phantom of the office? *blinks blinks* Tytach, I’m so INTRIGUED 👀
Hello there :3 Is your ask related to an ask game I posted about? (If yes then I'm sorry, I don't remember which one or what it was about, so if you're expecting a specific answer please let me know haha)
But yes, Phantom of the Office, the unexpected crossover we brainstormed over with @agentianlegend and @arkyn-99, where Danny gets hired as a temp at Dunder Mifflin and shennenigans follow. Dwight is convinced Danny is a ghost, and he's determined to prove it to the rest of the office!
If you go on my blog, there's a tag for it in my pinned post, with hopefully all of Ian's and Arkyn's posts included? (let me know if that's not the case? I need to double-check, it's been a while 😂). You can also find the ficlets I posted about it ✨ We all went in slightly different directions with this crossover, but in my case I do have a story planned and the first two parts posted on Ao3! There's however more posted on tumblr than on Ao3 for now, I need to write a couple linking chapters before I can bring in the tumblr chapters :3
It's not likely to update any time soon because I'm busy with a big bang for now, but I do want to come back to it eventually and finish it!
Head canon that after the reveal, Jack and Maddie foolproof Danny's ectosignature from every single weapon they sell. There is however a secret kill switch on every one of those, in case Danny needs to be stopped. This was Danny's demand.
I came across this while reading a Project Hail mary fanfic, ironically. The author said it was a found family feels space audiodrama/podcast. I have never listened to a podcast before, let alone an audio drama, so i had NO IDEA what to expect!
I found it on Spotify, and I think it's on Apple Podcasts, too. It was made in 2014 and concluded in 2017!
It's about a crew of three people on board a space station (and their AI) orbiting the star Wolf 359, a few lightyears away from Earth. The main character is Doug Eiffel, and he makes audiologs aboard the space station. It starts off with a ton of comedy and slice of life, and you hear what the characters get up to on board. And they certainly get into a ton of shenanigans!! I was laughing my BUTT off the first few episodes, and Eiffel's high pitched scream of hilarious terror absolutely killed me a few times.
What I love is that every character is seperately voiced and the VA's are AMAZING!! So much energy and emotion. You can't *see* anything, but there are so many audio effects that you really feel like you are on the space station, and despite only hearing dialogue, you can easily imagine what the characters are doing/acting.
I read a few comments, and they all say to wait till episode 10, 11, or 12 because that is where the main conflict/story really picks up. THEY ARE RIGHT!! You will have SO MANY questions by then and oops you're hooked!
I love listening to this while I'm doing chores or driving! Makes tasks go by really fast!
Aaahh thanks for sharing!
I've listened to the first 5 episodes already 👀
Musing under the cut to avoid spoilers!
I wonder if the transmission they're receiving is of alien origin, who would have intercepted Voyager and are playing the music on it? (I say that but I have no idea what music is actually on Voyager xD)
I really hate it when websites force you to use the google auto-fill for your address, instead of letting you just type it in.
What if that website supports only chromium based browsers and won't even give me the suggested address so there's nothing I can click on to fill in the address?
What if Google has the wrong postal code registered and I want to enter the correct one? Don't you think I'd know better where I live?
What if I live in a new construction that has no address registered on Google yet and therefore has no auto-fill for it?
Terrible design. It should be an optional tool for help, not an end all, be all.
Rules: Make a 24hr poll listing the titles of every WIP you want to work on. (It’s fine if you only have one, still make a poll for the vote count). Whichever WIP title gets the most votes, write 1 sentence for every vote received.
I haven't been tagged for this but it looks fun so let's go! Anyone who wants to do it too, be my guest :3
