Happy Storyteller Saturday! What is each vampire's taste in victim? You mentioned Nate going after someone a bit Basil-ish, do other vampires have a 'type' or is blood just blood?

nates currently a special case because he hasnt been a vampire to develop a taste (and hes still grappling with the whole. ethics behind it), and his first two kills were based on what basil provided for him - but yeah, the first free choice he got was a suspiciously basil shaped twink.

blood probably does taste different depending on lifestyles, but its generally a choice of how/where a vampire chooses to hunt (basil is basically a trapdoor predator from VTM, where he lives in his house and waits for ppl to come across it, sunday feeds on pipistrelle almost exclusively, belle feeds on blood bags, marshall would extort people for it)

its largely influenced by the way vampire the masquerade works. Some would be less picky, its not a mechanical thing, just preference.

omg she'd awkwardly wave and say like, "Uhh.. hi. I'm... Iona. Sedille. Fun fact my last name is Sedille. That definitely.. counts as one..........."

Then she'd probably list that her favorite weather is rainy, favorite pet is a choya ("But only those peaceful, cultish, possibly sacrificial?? ones in Desert Highlands"), and she can play the piano.

11). Obligation or initiative, why do they do what they do? Is there something/someone specific that motivates them? (bonus: has their motivation changed over the years?)

Oh man. The public speaking, meetings with royalty and mayors and generals, the posing for hours for some protest flyer using her likeness that Rytlock thinks is a dumb idea but Jory thinks it'll "inspire the people"? Obligation. The seeing families get reunited, seeing Aurene grow, helping the voiceless and silencing the unjust and wrong? That's what gives her the drive to keep going.

18). Past, present, future - what do they think about most?

In her day to day life she's thinking of the future. Her past haunts her and she tries to only recall the good, because anything else hurts too much. But on the battlefield she's got her mind squarely on the present. Her past and future do not exist at that moment, only her need to survive persists.

P sure if you've got actual audio processing disorder and can prove that you CANNOT take oral tests then you'll get an exemption. APD is a DISABILITY (if you've got any medical or other plans set up for any other disabilities you may have, it SHOULD (unless the education system is an absolute bitch) be fairly easy to get APD added on and then you'll be exempt from the oral.) Dunno if this info has been given to u in time, but it should be useful in the future!

I'm not even sure If I have like an actual audio processing disorder, it might be a mix of social anxiety and the pressure of the situation that causes me to fail to comprehend what's being said during orals. (same thing happened durign my english oral) But I feel I should also probably like. check that out too cuz i've been learning Spanish for idk how long and the fact I still struggle to fully understand what people are saying to me unless they talk very slowly is a little concerning. LMAO yeah the timing is a LITTLE off but I really appreciate it! N in the future I'll see if I can get that stuff checked out, I currently don't have plans set for any disabilities at school :((( which would be helpful but u know family stuff
