And Hamas? They're celebrating.
Hamas: *uses money to buy bombs instead of bomb shelters*
Hamas: *forces innocent civilians to stand in front lines of bombing areas *
Hamas: *hides bombs in highly populated areas and schools*
Hamas: OH MY GOD HOW DARE ISRAEL PUT CIVILIANS IN DANGER
The world: ISRAEL IS TARGETING INNOCENT CHILDREN
Last night
There were rockets and sirens in my dreams for the first time. Get out of my head, Hamas.
Joan Rivers dropped jettisoned comedy for politics ... unleashing an impassioned defense of Israel that included an awesome New York/New Jersey analogy.
finding out that hamas was NOT RESPONSIBLE for the kidnapping and killing of the 3 settlers, a situation that got us in this horrible horrible "operation" (not calling it a war means there could be no war crimes! zionist logic!) through TUMBLR. BECAUSE THE ISRAELI MEDIA DID NOT REPORT IT!!!!!
Suddenly all the recent events seem a whole lot clearer.
And once again we see how god keeps us safe in ways we couldn’t have come up with ourselves. Thank you, father.
American and European aircraft carriers suspended their flights to Israel, which of course also puts a stop to a lot of flights from Israel
How the FUCK am I supposed to get out of this hellhole now
OK. When I opened this tumblr, I didn’t mean for it to be political at all. But I live in Israel, so I can’t avoid addressing the war. I’m not going to take sides. That’s stupid. The conflict between Israel and Palestine is too complicated to say, this is wrong and this is right. Black and white mentalities are difficult to apply to reality without losing part of the truth in the process. I wish, very very much, that this war wasn’t happening. People on both sides are getting hurt. I believe in peace, in Palestine as a free state, in a world in which people don’t lose their parents and siblings and partners and friends and kids to a gun or a rocket or a bomb, in a world where children don’t know how to identify the different kinds of booms the rockets make when they land in open territory or are shot down. I want to make a difference in the world and in my reality, and I will, even if it’s only teaching my future children that there’s no such thing as ‘the bad guys’. I see people blaming both sides for the deaths, and you know what? Both sides are responsible for deaths. Both. At the same time. So, if you want to criticize the state I live in, go ahead. I do it all the time. I criticize the welfare and the education system and the huge defense budget and the stupid-ass politicians and the idiots who vomit mindless rage. You can criticize Gaza and Hamas too. I don’t do that as much, because I don’t really understand what’s going on there, except I know that Gaza is in bad condition. I also know that the south of Israel is bombarded with rockets from Gaza throughout the year. You’re free to ask me anything you want to know or hear about, and I'll answer with my honest opinion.
