convert friends, with one week to go for my beit din, i find myself wondering: what's something you wish you'd known or been better aware of in advance of your own beit din? i live in a constant state of anxiety and want to learn from y'all's experience if i can <3

my coworker asked me about my name [i don't use my hebrew name at work but do everywhere else, including linkedin] and asked if i was jewish because he was raised jewish

i got two minutes into being excited that there's another jew on my team but alas he added that he's a xtian now t.t

one of my rabbis just emailed me an apology for how long it’s taking to schedule my beit din and mikvah because they’re trying to jigsaw for five students and three rabbis on a weekday and i’m like. shalom rabbi [redacted] please just tell me a time and a place and i will Be There i do not think there’s anything in my personal life more important than this is

so anyway we’re looking at may or perhaps even jUNE for me to take my final and first steps and i’m a little bit trembling with excitement
