For the first time, Ukrainian product design will be presented at the Venice Biennale – FAINA collection from Victoria Yakusha will become a participant of the Venice Design 2019 project. Original pieces of furniture and decor with Ukrainian cultural code can be seen in Palazzo Michiel from May 11 to November 24, 2019.
This year, according to the organizers of the event, were invited designers, who influence the development of the industry and inspire their colleagues around the world. “We wanted to create a kind of “map” of the most relevant trends in design, to collect those who boldly experiment and reproduce new meanings in the products to show their best work to a wide audience of the Biennale,” – said Anais Hamoud, Venice Design program responsible. “In this matter, FAINA collection is a “bingo”, and we are happy that Ukraine will finally present its vision of modern product design to the world.”
