Delta had to learn pretty early how to deal with actual hair. They're still not perfect, but they try.

was delta and his friends born in predator packs and taken?
Nope!
The station they live on essentially captured a few live yautja and used their DNA, along with the DNA of other various alien species, to grow test tube babies that would eventually grow into Delta and their squad.
So technically, the whole squad is siblings. However, since they were raised to be super soldiers, none of them are used to actual family dynamics or anything like that.
Delta ends up being different because they found Ua'thi as a baby on a space station overrun with xenos after her parents were killed. Kind of like the beginning of Tarzan where Kala finds baby Tarzan after his parents are killed by Saboor. They evacuated her since she was a civilian, and she's grown up on the station basically following Delta around and forcing them to learn to be a big sibling. (Even though they're technically not allowed to have any contact with her, lol)

Delta might care for hunky boys.
