Cultural Contrabanda.MD is a residence in Chisinau seeking to establish new cultural links between Dzestra art formation (Chernivtsi, UA) and cultural NGO's, artists groups, initiatives, venues, galleries and other representatives of cultural industries in Moldova. The project is searching new ways of cross-border collaboration based on shared experiences and cultural exchange.
The priorities: - to learn experiences (art and interventions in public space of the post-soviet city) of host organisations - to explore the cultural scene of Chisinau and Tiraspol - to implement an own art project (field recording, video)

The residence occurs in the framework of Common Space for Creative and Cultural Industries project what implements by the NGO Business Center (Chernivtsi, Ukraine), Agency for Innovation and Technology Transfer (Chisinau, Moldova) and Impact Hub Odessa (Odessa, Ukraine), and is co-funded by the European Union through the Eastern Partnership Territorial Cooperation Support Programme "Moldova-Ukraine".
