Our Uber driver harassed us claiming that it is Uber’s policy to charge $400 as a “drunk fee” even though we were not drunk. He kept insisting we pay it in cash or else he would have to report us. He also said that people have paid him this “fee” in cash before. We did not.
Now Uber is trying to charge us $150 in cleaning fees even though we left the car in good condition. Uber doesn’t give a shit that I sent a video of the clean car after we got out or about the harassment/potential scam. So far they refuse to waive the fee.
No doubt he will try to do this again and Uber isn’t doing anything about it.
Never using Uber again.
