Day 1 Uberman
Hey everyone, welcome to my vlog. I’ll be posting updates as I adapt to, live with, and eventually transition out of polyphasic sleep. I will document my progress, strategies, physical appearance (both in terms of muscle definition and facial traits), and general demeanor. My goal with this vlog is to supplement the current forums, books, and videos of polyphasers with an additional anecdotal, first-hand account. My vlog is aimed toward helping those curious about the process and health factors of polyphasic sleep determine if it may be right for them.
I received a TON of great info from PureDoxyk in her book Ubersleep. She is one of the first to document polyphasic sleeping as a lifestyle. She also runs a blog with great info. Additionally, the Polyphasic Society has a fantastic website with clear instruction and current data regarding all things polyphasic. UPDATE: After my Uberman experience, I can no longer recommend PureDoxyk’s book Ubersleep for adaptation. Her data is misleading and outdated. However, she does have some great tips in there about how to live polyphasically as a lifestyle. For that, it’s a great read. Ready to take this journey with me? This is my first attempt at Uberman and I am determined to do it right.
