❝ OH, well… ❞
Seraiah smiles up at Chuck, standing a little bit on their tippy-toes to further close the gap between their wildly contrasting heights. Though strangers usually rendered them mute, Ser found it unusually easy to talk to the impressively tall woman in front of them.
She reminded her of her “family” in the woods back home: a towering but gentlepresence, and in this strange new world, Ser was eager to make friends with anybody who seemed trustworthy. Naturally, the easiest way to do that (in Seraiah’s opinion) was to present them with a gift, and she had spotted the nicest bouquet of lilies at a nearby floral shop. It just seemed polite.
❝ I thought you might like these, and… I’m new around here, so I’m trying to meet some people. Also, you’re really pretty. I’m Seraiah, by the way! Sorry if I caught you off guard. ❞
Oh, okay.
That makes sense, when she considers it. Nevertheless, the abruptness holds her on edge, and Chuck has to take a moment to settle her shaking nerves to a state of calm. Shoulders slumping forward, she adjusts the wrapped lillies, gaze pouring over the flowers. She’s seen these before in the store, with their speckled centers and a label about keeping them away from cats. Considering they had never had one, it had been nothing more than a label for reading amusement.
Chuck offers a smile, closed mouth and keeping her teeth hidden from view. The fact that she painted her claws a bright red makes them seem a little less harsh. “They’re nice. I, I uh- I didn’t want to be rude. I was just kind of confused, you know?” The bundle of confused near panic had set her off guard a bit longer tha nexpected. The comment about her being pretty does more, and Chuck turns an odd shade of pink.
“M-Me? Thank you. I um, uh, I- I’m Chuck. Nice to meet you?”

Lloyd wasn’t entirely too sure what he was out doing in the alleyways to begin with, but he finds himself crouched down with one arm extended out in front of him, as his other arm rests upon his knees. With a few clicks of his tongue, Lloyd carefully stretches his arm further out towards the stray cat who seemed to be curious about him. He had spent the small amount of money he had on his person to buy a small snack, but the way the cat had practically called out to him and meowed towards him...
He couldn’t help but to feel as though it was asking for a little bit, and Lloyd was never the type to turn down any type of help. Even if it was for an animal.
Tilting his head to the side, Lloyd leaves the snack out on the concrete for the cat. He watches, as the cat approaches it quietly and takes a few nibbles from it - as if it wasn’t sure it could trust Lloyd. But he smiles, quietly reaching his hand out towards the cat and rubbing it’s neck with two of his fingers, feeling it jump just slightly at his touch.
“Hey, it’s okay. I’m not going to hurt you.”
“What’re you doing out here all by yourself, huh, little guy? You lost?” His voice is soft, but loud enough for the cat to hear - and by extension, any passerby’s who might notice the scene.

CROWDS ARE ANNOYING -- she doesn’t personally have a problem with them outside of them being an inconvenience && she prefers being alone && in quiet. she’d spent a lot of her life slipping away from the castle to train on her own in the forests around her home -- alone with no one else but her owl. it’s how she liked it && so she knew what to look for when people were uncomfortable with crowds. one such person happened to be && so she took it upon herself to disperse the gathering people before the situation got out of hand. the woman places herself between the people slowly moving toward the young person, glaring at the crowd -- she has absolutely no problems making herself less than approachable to anyone she doesn’t know so the preconceptions a group of strangers are about to have toward her don’t matter in the least.
❝ how about you all back off before i make you. there’s plenty of festival that way. ❞
it’s quiet threat but her expression says she means it && most people don’t want to deal with someone like her so they scatter && the woman turns back to the other behind her.
❝ you okay? ❞

Fashion was something Maya always had an interest in. Her profession didn’t make looking into it very easy, however, so she’d never had a chance to really get into the nitty-gritty of it. When she heard there was a fashion event happening in Archimedes, however, she was happy to go window shop.
On her perusals of the different displays, she stumbled across a little vendor selling handmade accessories of all shapes and sizes. The last thing she needed to spend her money on was a bunch of bows, but here she was, about to check out with several of them in her hands. That was until she seen someone having a bit of an issue on weighing their possible purchases.
❝ It’s hard to pick from all this nice stuff, isn’t it? ❞ She spoke up as not to startle them, ❝ I think you should go for that headband, it’s very cute. ❞

He had been able to doze off for a bit after getting some much needed time alone, his unwanted visitors had finally stopped pestering him, although in the end he was a little glad he met a few of them. To be able to hear the silence of everything once again brought peace to Goji, now it titan dream land.
He wasn’t sure how much time had passed, honestly he couldn’t care. A mixture of him beginning to get a little hungry and the soft crunch of footsteps had stirred him from his sleep. Without even looking over at who had woken him up, Goji had lazily flopped over his tail in their general direction and let out a loud huff.
<<IF YOU DON’T HAVE ANYTHING I CAN EAT, THEN I’M NOT INTERESTED.>>
And with that, Goji rolled over towards his side so that he could properly identify the little scamp who was now walking around him. -Oh it was another human pup. Lots of em around here huh. Not sure why this one wanted to hang around a lazy lizard but oh whatever, if Seraiah got too close- or too loud for Goji, he could always scare her off. Shouldn’t be that hard.

I like to think Wrath tries make breakfast for both of them, but most mornings he’s passed out so he just compensates with buying a lot of microwavable dinners that Ser likes. Wrath complains a lot about how gross the frozen food is but he knows she likes it so he keeps buying anyway.
Wrath takes a lot of inspiration from his interactions with ser when he’s trying to convey camaraderie in his songs. There’s a lot of vague references to their shenanigans in Naked Brides’ later albums.
Before Ser’s birthday Wrath usually takes her to the laundromat where she usually naps as they get their clothes washed. Once ser’s knocked out he walks a block down to the thrift store to see what creepy clown doll he can snag for her. Sometimes he’ll even stop by the dollar store for a balloon. Thank god no one has stolen their laundry.

It was easy to say things, but much harder to put those words into action. Even Mizi had difficulties with that. Considering the world he came from, he was a very open person. However, the appearance of some people did make him wary, or frighten him; but he acknowledged this awhile ago, and continued to work on his own preconceived notions of certain beings.
“I’m...not really sure what it is.” He replied. “Maybe it’s how we’ve been raised? Right from the start we’re taught what to think and feel by our parents, then as we grow we’re able to form our own opinions, but...at the same time our upbringings still affect us.” He kept his hands together in his lap, politely. “Maybe..it’s an instinctual thing too? But....I don’t know...I’m not a scientist. Hah.” What was most important was to remain open minded and respectful-- at least that is how Mizi viewed it.
