Unprecedented prompt, robust and pace-setting response from Open Dreams Scholars - Incredible Over two months ago, we reported a theft incidence at our Yaounde Center, which caused quite some shock given the value of the material taken and the security in place. On the eve of Valentine's Day, we had the biggest gift ever, from Open Dreams Scholars to Open Dreams. The scholars spontaneously took the very bold step to contribute money and immediately replace all the stolen laptops to ensure the smooth continuity of our daily activities. This is a true reflection of being the change we want to see. This reaction left us so humbled - it won our hearts! Pre-scholars in the incubation stage can enjoy the enabling safe space as they work diligently on figuring out themselves and getting their dreams crystalized. Soon after the theft, the vacuum was very evident. The goodwill gifts (seeds), coming from scholars who already made it, to pre-scholars striving to make it are such compelling triggers to outstanding achievement, fulfilment and radiation of same measure to others striving to achieve.
