Mission Statement

The United Creative Artists Studio Society is a multi-faceted collective of men and women who are coming together to celebrate the arts, embrace their passions as well as encourage the passions of others, and strengthen community ties through events and services offered through U.C.A.S.S. We hope to accomplish many things, including providing a platform for local artists to collaborate and showcase their work, as well as to be your go-to event entertainment service for events and celebrations of all kinds. We recognize that New Westminster is rich in culture and history and that is something that we actively intend on celebrating, representing, and being a part of.

Who We Are

The United Creative Arts Studio Society, or U.C.A.S.S., is in the infancy of something wonderful. The concept behind U.C.A.S.S is to provide a platform for local artists (of all mediums) to showcase their work, nurture their passions, and share the in the sense of community created by working as part of a creative collective. The opportunities are endless from open mic nights, poetry readings, art shows and galleries, artist's studio space, book launchings, to functioning as a venue for live music. In addition to being a space for artists to get together and collaborate/showcase their work, U.C.A.S.S. will have separate and distinct divisions for services that we will be offering such as DJ services, Musical Production, Videographer work and so on. What makes U.C.A.S.S. so unique is the way that it is going to function; BY the artists FOR the artists! We want everyone to get involved, have a voice, and be an active part of bringing this creative collective to fruition. We have a solid start up team and are very excited about the endless possibilities for growth. We have obtained a business licence, and are currently scouting Downtown New Westminster for the perfect permanent location.
