Of the shrines, the first is said to have been built for Sheikh Baha’al-Halim by his pupil, the Suharwardiya Sufi saint Jahaniyan Jahangasht (1307–1383)

This aged well. According to a local guide, this magic well was under the spell of a local witch and her black magic that made the water flow in reverse until the then big kahuna of Uch summoned her, read some holy verses and fixed physics - enchanted, she recognized the power of his holy words over her own, was made his concubine and Uch lived happily ever after - the basic gist of the story narrated to me. It now holds stagnant water, plastic bottles and all manner of garbage inside
10 miles north of Uch, Panjnad is derived from the Sanskrit words pancha ("five") and nadī́ ("river") meaning "five rivers". The Panjnad River is formed by the successive confluence or merger of the five rivers of Punjab: the Jhelum River, the Chenab River, the Ravi River, the Beas River and the Sutlej Rivers. The water level here was disappointingly low for such a confluence
