Senior Josh Carlin transitioned from his previous role at right guard to take up the pivotal position of center, while redshirt junior Bruno Fina shifted from left tackle to assume duties at right guard. This reshuffling paved the way for redshirt Junior Jaylan Jeffers to step into the left tackle position, as Carlin replaced redshirt freshman Sam Yoon, who had been serving as the second-string center. According to Foster, the rationale behind these adjustments was to create versatility among the players and to prepare them for potential positional changes.
