Any big events that happen throughout the year? Recent/upcoming events?
At the end of each year we have our annual night market where we sell popular Taiwanese snacks such as sausage, oden, minced pork rice, and wintermelon tea. We also have activities and performances throughout the night!
What do you wish to accomplish on your campus/What influence or effect would you like to have on people at your school?
Our goal as a club is to raise awareness and spread knowledge about Taiwanese culture. We also provide a supportive community to Taiwanese-American students at UCSB.
What are some of your favorite things about Taiwan/Taiwanese culture?
Some of our favorite things about Taiwan are 7-Eleven, the food of course, holidays such as the Mid Autumn Festival and the Lantern Festival, and the distinctively beautiful land of Taiwan itself!
