So very weird for me to say I won’t have to go back into this place anymore. Although I didn’t really frequent it in the first place. I wasn’t really a bookworm, I wasn’t library bound 24/7 even in midterms or finals. It more just served as this iconic signifier of what was expected at UCSD. Grandiose spectacles of intellectual achievement everywhere you look. I liked college, a lot. I don’t like the idea that college is your only option. I don’t like the black and white viewpoint of my childhood that it was college or death (slightly exaggerated but is it really?). Oh well, these thought only serve as inspiration for future ideas instead of shackles from the past holding me down.
