“You’re hurting me.”
The younger Liddell twin was off dashing through the woods, hoping to lose the animal chasing after him. normally, the male would at least attempt to fight back but considering the state he was in at the moment - recovering wounds littering his body - he was in no place to. instead he had to opt to the other option: flight. as he sprinted blindly past the endless rows of trees, he collided with a body - one he had not seen.
muttering a muffled grunt on impact, the two ended up on the floor due to the force and weight of the collision. with his elbows digging into the other’s chest, the words slipping from the stranger’s lips were inevitable. having forgotten the animal after his life for having attempted to hunt the creature for a meal, the male looked up, apology ready on the tip of his tongue.
“i’m terribly sorry,” the words leaving his lips faster than the speed of light, scrambling to remove himself from the situation only worsened their position as they now laid in a heap of tangled limbs. julian could only internally curse his luck for putting him in such a situation as pink dusted his cheeks from the close proximity. frankly, the younger was still not used to such close contact with another unless it was his sister.
