AN ACTIVE MIND, when bored, always finds something or the other to keep it stimulated, be it productive or destructive. building large and easily triggered traps around the dollhouse likely falls into the latter category, but cathal can’t bring himself to regret any of it as he stumbles across a hilarious sight--one of the letter blocks 「J 」has captured some overly curious creature within its wooden walls, and the desperate scrambling is far too amusing.
PERCHED ATOP A fallen log, cathal studies the letter block, a smile dancing on his lips. “i don’t think i want to,” he says, voice loud enough to penetrate the block. “you see, i am deriving great enjoyment out of your situation.” drumming his fingers against his cheek, cathal stretches his legs out and crosses his ankles. it would take a minute or two to break down the block at most, but that would require effort he doesn’t want to expend.
“IF YOU’RE RECKLESS enough to wander around blindly in the dollhouse, then any punishment should be fitting, shouldn’t it?” oh, this is fun. “but i could be persuaded to consider setting you free… for a favour. give and take and all that.”
