I am Once Again thinking abt UF Papyrus and Flowey friendship.

He hangs out in Papyrus's scarf whenever he goes out shopping with him or whenever Frisk's at school and he’s bored/lonely.

He chills in a pot on the counter in front of the stand holding the book or notecard or whatever recipe Papyrus is working on and giving him the next step or measurement when he asks

Flowey is an unreliable taste tester bc he likes sweets and always tells Papyrus to add more sugar to stuff

In a similar vein I'd imagine he’s a pain to take grocery shopping if Frisk's with them too because he can absolutely convince them to put all sorts of sweets and sugary things in the cart while Papyrus is distracted (he lets them get away with it more than he should)

Flowey thinks the way Papyrus dresses is genuinely cool as hell and encourages him to dress like a final fantasy character on the way to a my chemical romance concert

Sometimes when he can't sleep after a nightmare Papyrus will paint. After a little while, he starts painting the various backup pots they keep for Flowey and Flowey likes to cycle between them so they all get used and seen (Frisk quickly gets invited to paint or decorate some too)

Flowey does Not like MK for a while solely because they made their own scarf to match Papyrus's and excuse you??? Is he your best friend?? No, no he’s not-

Out of anyone, Flowey is the one who has the easiest time convincing Papyrus to take more breaks when he needs to, and sometimes accompanies him, even if neither of them talk the whole time

Papyrus torments Flowey with obscure plant/gardening puns almost no one else gets after Toriel teaches the both of them about proper gardening techniques

Flowey really does try to not burden Frisk so much after surfacing. And while their relationship had gotten a bit strained over the years, after Papyrus subtly offers, it's almost easy to start...talking. Again. More honestly.

Initially Flowey and Undyne didn't get along so well, but they soon bond over their mutual dislike of Sans <3 Papyrus has no idea what to do about it </3

Underfell Flowey just being nice is dumb to me. Like, in game Flowey is fucking evil by the time we meet him for sure, but, he's a soul-less being that's who-the-fuck-knows-how-old due to timeline bullshitery??

I'm just saying, I'd probably drop my moral code too

I think Underfell Flowey would be nice to the player, but it wouldn't be heartfelt? Like, he's not trying to trick you or anything, but being a good person is like a game to him. In game Flowey, more or less, went through a nice phase before murdering everyone to see what new content he could unlock by doing that, so I propose Underfell Flowey does the opposite

Being raised in Underfell made Asriel get a thicker skin than in Undertale, so when he lost his soul and got the "no consequences" free card that is saving and reloading of course he'd murder and torture everyone! But eventually that gets boring, there's only so many ways someone can scream, ya know?

So, he becomes the Underground's best friend! Helpful little Flowey, here to comfort you about all your trauma and learn all your secrets. His favorite would still be Papyrus I think, since he's actually apart of the royal guard in, at least my version of, Underfell he's got a lot going on. And who better to vent his frustrations to than some weird flower in the middle of Snowdin forest! Flowey doesn't even have to try, he just offers the slightest comfort to him and Papyrus clings onto that kindness like a drug

I'll probably make a whole other post about Underfell Papyrus honestly, love him, need to rattle him around gently
