Raiden NOVA releases today digitally for the PS4/5, Switch and Steam.
The visual style of Bubsy: The Woolies Strike Back is garish and conflicted- however, this seems to have been done on purpose. Despite many of the icons and important items being bright neon against typically muted environments, they do stand out, and are effectively functional at drawing the player’s attention. As such, this functionality without adhering to basic art concepts seems to be in service of the larger game’s tongue-in-cheek, so-bad-it’s-good-but-on-purpose themes.
Raiden NOVA coming west on October 31 for PS5, PS4, Switch, and PC - Gematsu
UFO Interactive will release MOSS-developed twin-stick shoot ’em up game Raiden NOVA digitally for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Switch, and PC via Steam on October 31 in the west, the publisher announced. The PC version is newly announced. It is currently unclear whether a physical edition is planned.
The western release is due out day and date with the Japanese release. In Japan, the game will be available both physically and digitally for console platforms.
