Narrative-driven CRPG Vampire: The Masquerade - ETERNAL WHISPERS announced for PC - Gematsu
Publisher Kwalee and developer Flyos have announced Vampire: The Masquerade â ETERNAL WHISPERS, a new narrative-driven CRPG set in the World of Darkness universe. It will be available for PC via Steam. A release date was not announced.
âIâve been playing Vampire: The Masquerade [tabletop RPG] for more than 25 years,â said Flyos co-founder and creative director Gary Paitre in a press release. âThe universe, its themes and the stories it creates have stayed with me for most of my life. That passion eventually pushed me to create Vampire: The Masquerade â CHAPTERS, our narrative board game adaptation of the license, and later became the driving force behind Vampire: The Masquerade â ETERNAL WHISPERS.â
Paitre continued, âWith ETERNAL WHISPERS, our ambition is to deliver a mature and atmospheric CRPG that sits at the crossroads of classic role-playing games and modern narrative experiences such as Disco Elysium. We want to create a game where personal horror, exploration, and meaningful choices are just as important as atmosphere and storytelling.â
