I will make no opinion statements on the morality of the UHC shooting. What I will say is the trial is a fucking joke. Way the make our already horrific criminal justice system more of a laughing stock. Presumption of innocence? Never heard of it. Judges rescinding themselves because of a conflict of interest? When was that something they were supposed to do.
They’re making a spectacle out of this whole situation. Not beating the scapegoat allegations with this guys.
This whole case is just making a mockery of our court system and civil rights. It’s a massive joke. At this point there’s been enough official misconduct that if Luigi has a good lawyer he could (in a perfect world where the system isn’t corrupt) probably get the charges dropped.
