Today in state and local gov my professor spent a lot of time talking about how difficult it is to actually get into politics and how it isn't really worth it to run if you're in an opposing party and the whole time I sat there and I felt really really discouraged about my career goals because all I want to do is make a difference and I know it’s going to take a lot of time and effort to make huge changes and I’m very passionate about what I want to do but god I just felt like I’m never going to be able to make a difference and does anything really even matter at all
