2, 4, 12, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 20, 22, and 25 for Uhurom :3c
Uhurom’s smile is almost always very slight. He doesn’t smile very well through his scars, but it’s always a soft, sincere smile. When overjoyed, he does his best to smile wider, even if it causes his scars to twinge a bit.
Uhurom isn’t self-conscious about his body type; however, he is not without Orcish pride. He always has a deep-seated fear in his stomach of being looked over because of his disabilities, or being called weak, or useless; as such, he’s done his best to perfect fighting blindly, relying on his other senses to pick out enemies and on his partnership with his Ghost Wolves.
[makes dead-on eye contact with Jackson]
Hardly a moment goes by that Uhurom is not at his mate’s side. Even before they were officially a couple, Uhurom spent most of his free time with Anaaya; she seemed to be one of the few people that was accepting of his disabilities, and was willing to help him and learn to work around them. In an environment that seemed to welcome him only with hostility and belittlement, Anaaya was a source of comfort and warmth; and he became enamored with her, not only for that, but because to him…Everything about her was amazing; her kind voice, her gentle spirit, her warm and welcoming personality. Very seldom does Uhurom cry, but the day she agreed to be his mate, he cried as he never had before.
Uhurom cherishes her beyond anything in this world or the next–Staying constantly by her side, constantly showing her affection, be it through holding her hand, placing an arm around her shoulder, or a hand on her waist, showering her in both gentle and firm kisses. But everything he does, he does gently. Despite being so accustomed to his lack of sight and working around it, he worries about accidentally being too abrasive with her, or handling her too roughly; thus, his romantic approaches are almost always slow, his touch so very gentle. Note, that gentle nature comes through when it comes to intimacy as well. Kek
14. How they react to burning their tongue on food.
[CRINGES INTO THE VOID IN ORCISH]
15. How they react to a brainfreeze.
[CURLS UP INTO BALL AND HOLDS HEAD AND GRUNTS IN ORCISH] Hey, he might be used to natural cold but that shit still hurts
Uhurom dreams very little; what dreams he does have are usually more sensory, and not visually clear. For example:
Like I said before–His vision is sparse, and thus, his image of Anaaya is not entirely clear. She began to appear in his dreams when they were getting better acquainted, and he realized he had growing feelings for her. When she physically appeared in his dreams, however, she appeared as something almost intangible; a winter spirit, hardly perceivable against the snowy background, save for a flowing wave of dark, blue hair and an ever-present, soft smile.
Uhurom often woke from these dreams with a heavy, but warm, heart.
Uhurom strives to be seen as an equal in his clan; he often pushes himself to the brink training himself to be in perfect tune with his other senses–And despite being a Shaman, tries his best to rely on himself more than the Elements.
Aside from that, he pushes himself to be strong for his mate; he knows that she loves him, and that she’s more than happy guiding him and caring for him when he needs her–But he doesn’t want to burden her, despite being told that he’s not a burden a multitude of times.
Not well. Uhurom’s hearing is very good, and he’s very sensitive to external queues; he hardly misses anything, and even the smallest noise/activity can keep him up well through the night.
He sleeps a thousand times better when he’s at Anaaya’s side, though–He can focus on the sound of her heartbeat, or breath, or soft voice, and tune out the rest of the world. He finds comfort in every part of her, and sleeps much more soundly with her at his side.
20. Their reaction to a mystery love letter.
[looks in general direction in Orcish BECAUSE HE’S BLIND]
22. What they’re like on two hours of sleep.
Like I said, Uhurom is used to not sleeping well, so he probably wouldn’t function much differently than he would on a regular night of sleep. Although if he actually got a good night’s rest you probably wouldn’t be able to rouse him from his sleep for ages. He might sleep an entire day if he had the chance, just to catch up.
Uhurom is my first male Orc character and I’m super proud of his design and concept. I know he has a lot more room to grow, too, and his relationship with Anaaya is. FUCKING HEART-MELTING GOD
And now he’s 100 in-game, so there’s that! I look forward to Orc-ing and maybe seeing Anaaya in-game too. :3c
