Whole targeting system is now in place. The player has a magic situational awareness that will label any target within 3km. Graphics for this are super placeholder. Those numbers are to tweak and so is the functionality (locking onto one of these is an eventuality for padlock purposes) but this is the starting point of a ton of mechanics.
This system is meant to be independent of real sensors such as radar. Not all planes have radars, and the effectiveness of radars could vary quite a bit between aircraft. Even if your radar can’t see something (or you don’t have one), these icons will always be visible.
That’s a really satisfying way to end the night.
