0000-NULL 1284D “Draconis”

1284D was first sighted on November 19th, 2078 by marine biologist Yamato Naomi, who had been traveling to the border of the Mariana Trench to inspect the wreckage of a deceased Oceanus. Upon reaching the carcass, a humongous signal appeared on her SONAR, larger than anything she had ever seen before, taking the shape of a dragon-like creature with large forelegs and even larger wings. The water around her stirred tremendously, almost tipping her boat. Once the trembling subsided, the Oceanus carcass was gone, and deceased fish floated up to the surface.

Many other sightings had been reported periodically up until the Long Night. It was commonly spotted in the Ring of Fire, usually before or after a seismic disturbance. It seemed to change in appearance rapidly, growing and adding onto itself, supposedly assimilating pieces of dead Earthmovers into its chassis, becoming the third largest Earthmover ever recorded.

Realistically, it should not be able to move—let alone fly—with how much mass it contains. However, it seems to be powered by blood and a mysterious, cyan-glowing substance that it could be recycling or obtaining from an unknown source. It cannot be determined what the substance is, as attempts to sample the substance have been unsuccessful.

There are no development logs to be found anywhere of this Earthmover. It is unknown where it came from, how it was built, or what its purpose is. One thing is for certain: it is highly dangerous, able to destroy—as far as we know—anything that is within firing range. It exhibits highly lethal skill in both ranged and melee combat, stores additional weaponry in its fleshy hide, has virtually no blind spots, and can use bursts of speed with the large thrusters on the undersides of its wings. The only logical weak points would be the aforementioned fleshy hide, but that would be if anything could even get close enough to damage it.

Due to the ongoing war, lack of funding, and the creature’s preference to reside in the Ring of Fire, research surrounding it has been put on hold. We hope that it will not grow in power, and if it does that it will eventually become crippled by its own weight. There is nothing we can do.

idk if i’ve introduced this guy on here yet. i think i’ve mentioned him like… once on an old post. idk if u wanted info or not but i’m infodumping anyways cuz it’s about time that i explained her. no one has to read it tho since she’s not important to my au at all

anyways this is Zamieć yaaayyy \ ’w’ / her name translates to ‘blizzard’ in Polish (pronounced ‘zah-mee-esh’). he’s an Earthmover that was going to be made as a bodyguard for another one of my Earthmovers, but her development got discontinued and she was sold to a seed bank company.

so yeeeehhhh he gets sent to antarctica where the final war barely reaches, gets non-consensual body modification so that she can hold massive fuckin seed banks on her back, and is basically stuck in antarctica with no one to talk to and barely any stimulation

not to mention that her body was not meant to carry the huge amounts of weight that she does now, so it puts a lot of strain on her body and causes her to run extremely hot. in fact, he runs so hot that if he’s not constantly in below-freezing temperature, he will die from overheating. he’s also constantly soaking wet because of the amount of snow that melts upon contact with his body.

as for the modifications, the back-most pair of legs and the tail were salvaged from a dead Earthmover because the company that bought her is lazy and does not care for her well-being. the add-on legs are noticeably weaker and more damaged, causing those legs to have a constant limp

he’s always in pain with how much his body has been fucked up. she’s always burning up from the inside, has to constantly carry more weight than she’s supposed to, and has a pair of defective legs.

not only that, but his mind is fucked up too. due to his lack of socialization, he does not know how to communicate properly for the life of him, so whenever she rarely connects to the comms of another Earthmover, she’s usually immediately kicked out because of how awkward she is in conversations

she has major depression and anxiety. she just wants to be free man 😔 the only reason why he’s doing this is because the company will stop supplying him with blood if he doesn’t work. what a tragic littol honse

anyways, this guy was originally suggested by mothman_2 on ao3, who laid down the basis of a seed bank earthmover who’s alone in a cold area, and i just extended on it… like a lot

Zamieć represents a few stuff about me as a person: mainly the overheating (i overheat easily), the awkwardness, the mental issues (i do have anxiety and depression, more so anxiety), and being stuck in a place that i hate but can’t escape from and forced to do the same mundane tasks for the rest of my life (school. or a job. or just living in a capitalist society as a whole)
