#PageantSwim4TheWin It has and always will be my favourite round. It's the part where I feel most alive! Liberated, empowered and totally comfortable in my own skin. This body is far from what society deems as acceptable but I'm totally okay with that because I am far more than just a body. Swimwear rounds allow me the chance to strip it all back to basics, to walk proudly with confidence and determination. It allows me to be free and sassy, it is the real chance for me to shine. Every time I participate in swimwear I show a small snippet of the real authenticity of a woman who knows she doesn't conform yet doesn't care a smidge. She is flawed and yet unapologetically herself. There is a real power in that. Raw honesty which cannot be covered up behind layers of clothing...just a woman living her best life, strutting her stuff without a care in the world...that woman at that point just happens to be wearing swimwear whilst she does it. Everyone woman should get the chance (should she want to, that is) to experience those feelings. There is nothing quite like it.
