This 12" sampler is a 100-copies-only preorder for a vinyl featuring Weapons Of Desire main artists Auto Sound City, along with 3am's Al Bradley, with a track each on the 12" & all profits split 50/50 between Help Ukraine Center and the ActionAid Ukraine Appeal in Leeds. These are vital local charities assisting with the Ukrainian effort & we're incredibly proud to be supporting them. I painted this in September 2020 and am buzzed that it’s going to a good home - and with proceeds going to our Ukraine fundraising efforts too ❤️❤️❤️ to @martukigl who it now belongs to and also to all the @doghousebarandbagelshop crew for their work raising money for this cause. More news on that… Earlier this year @imaginarium_leeds got together with The Doghouse for a simple idea – engage their community of creatives in hosting an art auction and DJs at Leeds Corn Exchange to raise funds for two Ukrainian Charities: Help Ukraine Centre and Action Aid DEC Ukraine Appeal. In the process they showcased the exceptional talent and activity of the city and the response from Leeds was incredible. In September @upsideyourmind and The Imaginarium will be holding a York event at @thecrescentyork and inviting some friends from Leeds to play their finest records alongside our own York guest DJs. We will be holding a silent art auction both online leading up to the event and during, with bids permitted in advance. The winning bids will be announced on Tuesday 13th September, our aim to make as much as possible from tickets and the auction! All proceeds will go to the charities in support of the people still enduring this conflict. We are calling out to York creatives who would like to donate a piece of their work for the cause.
