Inscription on the stećak of Grd, a 12th century župan in Trebinje, then part of the Serbian empire. It is the oldest known example of the stećci tombstone culture.

Necropolis of over 1000 graves with monumental slabstones engraved with mysterious symbols discovered in 1991-93 excavations in Dići, dating back to 14th century and built around the remains of a 13th century mausoleum church. The stones belong to the oldest phase of the Stećak tombstone culture.

The inscription, engraved in 13 lines, speaks of the repose of Vldrag, who presented himself on the Ascension of the Lord on May 8, 6835 (1327) and was buried in the mausoleum together with relatives.

The mausoleum church was burned down during Ottoman occupation in 1459 like numerous other sacral buildings in the Rudnik area, but the necropolis continued to be used until the 17th century. Officially after that there is a break until the 19th century, when people continued to bury their dead at the edge of the old cemetery which is still in use.
