It’s never ‘random’
Heya everyone! Finally I managed to put myself together and start writing lol well honestly it took me a while to create this tiny blog. You know there’re always thousands of useless things like going to work everyday, doing things around the house, communicating with others lol which distract us from doing what we really want (kidding, of course these things are not useless but you got my point I guess :) ).. so anyway here I am now! let me introduce myself.
I’m a Russian girl who moved to the UK a while ago, and randomly found myself in the middle of nowhere, in some small industrial town not too far from Cambridge, called Haverhill. Of course in my dreams about changing my location from freezing Russia to cloudy England Haverhill never appeared, however here we go.
Life is unpredictable as everyone keeps saying… although in my opinion everything that happens in life eventually IS for some reason. I only understand it now, I won’t admit it during my first year when I just moved here from lively-lovely London. At that time my friends I was absolutely sure that someone just cursed me – and that’s pretty much it! lol
Anyway, to cut my so-called ‘intro’ a little bit… that is how I found the things which I really love now, and that’s how I finally started to do what I REALLY wanted to do in my life. Apart from painting though, I’m obsessed with it since the time when I figured out how to get hold of a pencil haha.
Other things like for example running which I hated severely when I used to be in school and Uni I’ve only begun to enjoy once I’ve realised there is not much to do around in this area and why not to lose couple of kilos gained while attending amazing London cafes and friends’ parties when I used to study for my Media MA course.
As for the raves… I’ve always wanted to attend those, enjoy house music which I love too much and feel ‘free’… Feel that bit, feel that nothing bothers you, enjoy the moment… And even more I’ve ever wanted - to write about these events! But before moving to this small town I didn’t have many mates found of raves around so as I was too scared to do it on my own (stop giggling, I’m a brave girl now lol) I was enjoying any other activities together with everyone else, but didn’t take risks really.
And only now I’m realising how stupid it was. I would like really to stress it out guys, SERIOUSLY: NEVER BE AFRAID TO DO THINGS ON YOUR OWN, YOU CAN LOSE THE BEST MOMENTS OF YOUR LIFE! And maybe yeah … -
So that is how it all started, a brief description for you my lovely ones lol. I guess everyone would like to have a bit of a background before the real story begins.
To sum up, In my blog you will find lots of honesty (I bloody promise you lol), emotions, advise how to work on yourself and support as we know how difficult it is from time to time (running part.. yeap, I DID run a marathon, it’s true, but let’s keep it quiet till laters), coverage of the best house music UK events (YAY! Party time! Pss.. Creamfields tickets already booked for this August) and also as a nice addition my comics style drawing to cheer you up :)
That’s all for today, nice to meet you all.
Always yours,
Katty
