The Ucumar is a hominid cryptid from South America. It is described as being between five and seven feet tall, with thick hair, small eyes, and long arms and legs. It is thought to be herbivorous, favouring a cabbage-like plant called payo.
The first reported sighting of the Ucumar occurred in 1958, when a group of campers saw him in the area of Rengo in Chile. A few years prior, geologist Audio L. Pich found several tracks in Argentina that seemed human, but were more than fifteen inches long. Several reports followed of eerie calls from the mountains near Tolar Grande.
